ETHICS

The Ethics Study Group explores and discusses moral and ethical issues we all face every day of our lives. Attitudes and mores are changing rapidly, so it helps us to make good decisions about issues with family, social relationships, and business problems. Lively opinions are the norm, often with little consensus!

SCIENCE & TECH

Meets fourth Wednesday, September through November, January through May

Attendees include individuals with backgrounds in science as well as anyone interested in the ways science influences our lives. Discussions with people of diverse skills enliven the meetings and broaden our ability to understand scientific developments which affect our lives.

LITERATURE

Meets first & third Wednesday throughout the year

Our reading selections are from short story anthologies which are chosen by the group . For variety, a novel is also included.  Members take turns in directing the discussions.

SENIOR HEALTH

The Senior Health Group discusses common health problems of seniors and recommended preventive measures. Information is drawn from medically approved and generally available sources on the internet. Requests for discussion of specific topics may be submitted to the chair prior to the meeting.
